Alvøen Hovedbygning Concerts 2026

Tranquil place. There's a well-preserved but rustic manor house and accompanying buildings, small garden, and acres of wooded area for a quiet walk in nature. There's also a marina next to the manor. It's a great way to spend a couple hours.

Never been inside the museum, just saw pictures. I love the outside area: a nice white building with a high porch and a neat lawn at the front; a gazebo with a small very green park in the backyard and around the building. There is an alley of neatly trimmed old trees and historical buildings. The area has a 'bohemean' charm: old factory buildings house clay workshops, photostudio, interior design and antique shops. Somehow being there just gives me peace of mind and joy.

Magical! The museum was closed when we were there but the grounds are so charming we still had a wonderful time!

Can go fishing along the pier. Nice place
